300 square feet. It would be at least $125 a square foot, depending of course on where you live. So that is 37,500. The openings would also depend on the work involved, whether the wall was a load bearing wall or not. The openings would have to be cased. Around here, Alabama, I would expect at least $50,000.

who is gonna build it what time frame?

will you use logs and old storm windows or actually buy building materials

contractors involved or not

how much glass?

a nice big fireplace?

5K to 50K ball park figure, I think its usually $100 per square foot for fast low quality construction

so $30K in this case

I would drink beer and build it myself:

beer $1200, some for helpers too
logs and transport $3,000 (hand hewed)
stones and transport and cement ($1500)
roof related activities $2000
glass and glazing $2000 (cheaper if I find enough storm windows in the trash)

something like that

Depends on the materials used. $25k to 50k should be a large enough ball park.

ball park is all you can expect without further details. 10 grand would be a reasonable guess.
