badge bunnies is a term used to refer to females who are often overly attracted to police officers. in my region they were also refered to as "chippies". yes most of them will readily sleep with a cop, married or not. however most police wives have a far more interesting name for them.

Basically cop groupies - at least I will assume as much since in hockey, the groupies are called puck bunnies. Essentially, they annoy me because I don't think they realize how truly pathetic they look.

LOL sorry the term stands for females that chase after police officers. In the military we used the term tag chasers. The police officer may or may not be married. And if the do hook up, shame on both of them. Good luck.

The term "badge bunny" refers to those who "chase" police officers for affectionate relationships!
A term most often used by the significant others of officers!
Best wishes!

badge bunnies are not unlike "buckle bunnies" at rodeos -- they hang around trying to snag themselves a peace officer.
