A scientist got lost in the Amazon. After 3 days without food and water, he finally found a cottage. It has a WELL on it's front yard. Surely you want to drink from it, but the owner of the well wont let you to. Whatever you say to him, he'll say "No".
If you were the scientist, what would you say?

Ask him, "Can I not drink from your well?" Therefore, it would render your sentence (and his response) a double negative, allowing you to drink from it. Greedy bastard.

As a scientist I would say to him that the plants nearby his cottage are drying up due to the extensive heat of the sun without rain.So I would ask him the permission to water the plants and by the way drink some water.!!! Cool isn't it

Hello I am scientist Victoria And we just found that oil has been affecting your water nearby we need to take experiments back to the lab to protect you from getting contaminated. Then he will give me the water then i drink

I would ask, "Do you mind if i drink some water?" If all he says is no, then i would have no problem

i wouldn't say anything,i'd kick his a** ,drink his water,then burn down his cottage.
then,i'd die from the poisoned water or some odd s**** that would only happen to me.
