I had buttons to grab columns and graphics and then I could right click and copy them, but I foolishly "upgraded" to a higher version, Adobe Reader 6. Now I have to put the text or graphics into the clipboard, from which I have been unable to retrieve them. How do I get back to the version that I had? I can't remember which version I had before.

I'm surprised that you were able to copy directly from Adobe Reader inasmuch as it is in PDF format. I usually have to save a copy of the PDF file, then convert it to Word. I have PDF Converter 3. As of this writing, there is also a free conversion service at www.media-convert.com which is easy to use and works great.

With that said, I don't know that you can download a version earlier than 6. In fact I recently downloaded Adobe 7.
