you can make hand puppets out of socks... (button eyes and yarn for hair, lips and nose painted or drawn on) and make her a puppet show or if she is feeling better have her make a puppet show and get her imagination going! :)

Try baking. Since she is not too sick - this is perfect. Have 3 boys and they all love to help Mom bake. Great way to spend some one-on-one time together and also a great learning experience. Let her help measure and mix - just make sure to wash hands thoroughly before and after! Nothing better than staying home from school and baking some cookies with Mom!

Make her a sick couch...put a blanket over the couch that only she can lay on. The once you get her all settled pop in one of her favorite movies or turn on the T.V it ALWAYS helps. Trust me. Just try it and see how well it works. Or read her a story or 2. Maybe even let her color. And make her fun things to eat that are still safe for her to have while sick.

1) Buy coloring book or get coloring sheets off google.com
2) Have her make supper or lunch with you or an adult
3) Play a board game with her
4) Rent a movie
5) Read a book to her
6) Look at old photos together

Hope this helps!

Try a board game that you can play with her. Kids love the attention (let her win).

This is a quiet activity my daughter loves!! I get her a stack of all diff kinds of magazines (my mom-in-law gives me all her old ones) and I give her construction paper, scissors, and a glue stick. Oh and markers/crayons too. She makes her own collages and posters to hang on her wall and bedroom door.

Hope she feels better and God BLess

my daughter is 5 and loves to do crafts. We make bracelets and necklaces...out of anything, bead, buttons, macaroni...etc. Use your imagination. She also likes to color and draw.
Oh and makeup and nails is always another favorite! Give her a manicure, soak her fingers, file her nails, polish them....do her feet too! Then put makeup on her and let her put makeup on you!
Have her help you cook something...make cookies, cut up fruit anything in the kitchen is another idea.
Me and my daughter always can find something to do...it's my sons I have a problem entertaining when they're sick.

Host a tea party or a living room picnic for her dolls and/or stuffed animals. Help her make healthy snacks and have her choose who to invite and what to serve.
