From this answer, evidently so.

"
The doctrine of the inspiration of the Bible means that the Bible in the original documents is God-breathed, that they are a divine product, and because they are divine, they are inerrant in the original documents. The copies of those documents are not inspired. We have copies of inspired documents."

Yea right, God said we should put our children to death for cursing us. Yea right!

reading the bible destroys not only braincells but the soul cells and the heart cell.............
That's what religion does to anyone who believes in it's lies and deception.............
but here's the Solution to eliminate religion in your life:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

You were correct until you wrote:

The copies of those documents are not inspired.

Just because they are copies, does not make them any less inspired than the original manuscripts.

Reading the word, I would say helps brain cells, and does not destroy them.

Drugs, such as what we think of as drugs, and booze does such. We now know that 99.999999999% of the people who use tobacco in any form develop some sort of cancer. We also know that second hand smoke can give cancer to those who do not smoke by just being around the smokers. Now if you get cancer in your brain because of smoking being a contributing factor, you are killing brain cells as well.

I recall going to an AA meeting once and someone complained that they didn't want to get brainwashed and someone else retorted that maybe they needed their brain washed.
Taking my cue from that I would say, just the brain cells which need to be destroyed.
(Bible quote warning; if you are uncomfortable reading biblical quotation quit reading here)

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Does reading the Bible destroy brain cells? Well, if you personally think you have reason to be concerned about your brain-cells, you can always read something else. If not, you should be safe. Enjoy!

Not necessarily destroy, but it certainly overstimulates the emotive centers of the brain, which is proven to actively inhibit the exercise of the logic centers of the brain.

The same effect happens in politics.

Reading it?
No.

Believing it?
Yes.

But then you'd need less than half a brain to believe that crap in the first place. That is why christians... predators that they are.... prey on the children while they're still young and not properly developed.

I don't think that you have anything to worry about. This is usually the case with "gorgeous" women.
