Hello,
At the university I attend, I see a lot of Muslim girls wearing long skirts that are elegant and fashionable. I've asked them where they got them and they said that the skirts were purchased back in their country.
I was wondering if there is a place in the States to buy similar skirts or online?

Just be aware the sizing is way off w most of the online Islamic clothing especially wiht length...and the fabric can be inferior so try out one of them before ordering a bunch and check on the return policy. Try not to machine wash or dry any of them as they tend to get ruined or shrink a lot. Often they tend to be too short so unless you are 5'2" or under expect that. Get the longest you can then you caould have it shortened if needed.Of course this varies from store to store but thats my general experience with friends who have ordered on line.
If you live near any major city or plan to visit soon you can get them-.If overseas you can have it sewn to your exact measurement if you can show them one or draw a picture perhaps.
I gave up a long time ago and sew my own stuff off and on but since I am active a lot I don't wear as much skirts but I encourage you to do so it is very pretty.

There are Islamic clothing stores online, just do a quick search. I like the embroidery and patterns on a lot of the skirts many of my Muslim friends wear, really pretty. I prefer long skirts to short any day of the week, they're flowing & elegant.

If you are just interested in the different fashion you haven't seen before so you don't have to wear it because very soon you'll get bored , but if you really understand the aim of this decent skirt and want to be a girl like a reserved diamond no one can get her except that who deserve and appreciate her .... so you must really search for this type of skirts and sure you can find them at any arab store

I don't know, but it is just so lovely to see a girl wanting to look more like a girl ... and wanting to dress up nicely and look very differently than the clothes the guys wear, that so many girls follow today.
