sometimes. I get frustrated when I see people state that they are a Christian but they've never open the Bible; only go to mass on Christmas and Easter; after going to mass they go home and swear at their wife and kids and get drunk; etc. Many people think that they are a Christian just because their parents had them baptized when they were an infant and they beleive that Jesus died and rose from the dead. Pow! They are automatically saved! This really frustrates me. If you don't know why you are a Christian, then find out or stop telling people you are one.
I was baptized into the Catholic Church, received the sacraments, went to Catholic school.....I left the Church for 15 yrs. I never stopped believing that God existed, I knew He was here. I just was really pissed at Him for a long time. So for all those years, I would tell people that I was an non-active Catholic. Thank God (literally), I am an active one now.

Embarrassed, No!
Frustrated, Some times
You have those that are radical, but then you have some that are lackadaisical as well.
We are not our brothers/sisters keepers. We are all responsible for our own actions. The day we all go before God, we can't say: 'But God, I didn't know this or I didn't think I could do this... etc.'
What you might think of another person may not be in fact what that person is all about. Just like we might think you are "crazy" for the line of questioning here, but in reality you might be the one who is "lackadaisical" and not one to take responsibility for your actions.

They don't Embarrass me or cause me to be frustrated, Why should they, They are only making themselves look bad, As a Christian for 37 yrs. I have got used to all fanactical Christians & athseists, & make-believers. I know where I stand at with God, Their actions don't bother me one bit. I will say their actions is what puts a bad name on True Christians.

Very much so, although I would lean more towards frustrated. I get frustrated by anyone that is ignorant enough to mock, judge, or be unkind to others in any way, whether Christian or not. That just drips with ignorance and intolerance. I think the crusades and the inquisition are deplorable actions taken by ignorant people just the same as I feel all war and violence is deplorable for any reason. I am a simple person, the Bible teaches love...and not love of oneself. When someone takes it upon themself to judge or condemn anyone they are putting theirself in the seat of God. If all Christians would just love everyone, like they are instructed by God himself, you wouldn't be asking this question...anyways i'm going to start rambling, so I cut myself off now.

They must. I know plenty of very rational Christians - including my own parents. The crazy ones are not just an embarassment to Christians, but to humans in general.

I may be one qualified as one of the "crazies" as a right-wing fundamentalist, but I also get frustrated with my brothers and sisters. Self-righteousness that judges others, and then turns around to gossip about it, is not cool.

Some are very young in the Faith, others are no doubt still recovering from various emotional and mental issues and still others have a less than optimal scholastic history.
..A direct answer? yes..at times. However, I will defend both they
and the gospel that they are attempting to share with such a ferrocious and blind audience with a passion.
....Jesus chose, such as these..

The problem comes when some of those "crazies" are influential christian leaders.
