maybe a civil war theme? Gone with the Wind was based in the civil war. Everywhere that I looked up Gone with the Wind wedding theme, it would come back with civil war. Then, for the cake topper, you can get a Scarlett and Rex topper. Maybe if you can't find the actual topper, you can go to Halmark and get ornaments and use them as toppers. You and your attendants could be dressed in a civil war type attire and then you could also have Gone with the Wind favors of some sort...Also, check out ebay and Craigslist. They always have great things!!

Good luck to you...it already sounds like a BEAUTIFUL wedding!!!

I don't know but this doesn't sound like a good theme for a wedding. If you are wanting a southern flare that would be different. I would look for traditional southern weddings. Being from the south...there are no such thing as the traditional southern wedding anymore. For one thing people did not fly in airplanes to go to weddings in so the couple would spend a year or more visiting realatives. I bought the cutest show boat victorian cottage that was built specifically for a couple to stay in when they visited.....very few of these are left.
