My cat does the same thing with the bracelets and rubber bands. No matter where you put them she will get them. She licks plastic bags not pictures though. I don't think it can harm them. You could try keeping your pictures in plastic sleeves. As far as the rubber bands and bracelets they will pass through the system. My cat has been eating those for years. I try not to bring them in the house at all but when they are there she finds them.

I have 4 cats and two of them LOVE to lick pictures....if you cant take the pictures down then frame them or put them in something that she cant lick the ink off...it can hurt her...in is a chemical ...as for the rubber bands you need to put them somewhere safe that she cant get into...rubber bands can get lodged in her intestines if she cannot pass them and then most likely become ill and you will have to do surgery (which can cost up to $2,000-$3,000) ....but definetly try and make some changes before she gets sick :-)

sounds like the cat is has a defiecency in the diet. Rubber bands possibly for the salt that comes off your body. Try adding some canned sardines or herring to the diet to saltify it.(not the whole can, just a minnow or 2) not too salty either. If you can distinctly taste salt, it might be much for the cat.

Wow...

I don't know why when you all post stuff on Yahoo! answrs about your pets, it just makes me smile I love animals, even the most ridiculous things they do are so cute!

Hide these things from her (YES YOU CAN), she can definitely get sick from the rubber and ink consumption.

Do something about all your stuffs if you really love your pet..!!!
Cats love shining and anything that moves.
They find it challenging and interesting to play.
Yes, poor kitty will be sick.!!!
You do not want him to be sick and you will be worry sick yourself.
Once you know he isn't sick.
Try discipline him gently, with no, no no, bad boy.. !!!
and maybe in time he will not do that anymore.
Good luck...!
