Heavens no! Boost is loaded with calories. My grandmother drank it to keep her weight up and for the vitamins because she wasn't eating like she should. If you don't want to gain weight don't drink it.

I used to sell Herbalife, and I can tell you that drinking high-quality, easily digestible protein shakes can help you lose weight. The problem with most shakes out there is the sugar content and what they should be used for.
Some shakes only help you get more vitamins. Some are meant to be meal replacements. Some are meant to be snack replacements.
If you want to look for a weight loss shake, look for a shake that has 15-20 grams of protein (no more - anything more than 20 grams will not be digested anyway and could be taxing to your kidneys), and it should have less than 4 grams of fat and less than 14 grams of sugars. Carbs are okay but look for the grams of sugar.
Do some research because there are TONS of shakes out there! I would buy a shake or shake powder from a nutrition store like GNC. They can help you pick a shake for your weight loss goals. I think Boost is generally a vitamin shake - I don't think it's good for weight loss.

Yes it could if you are able to stick to it. I have to drink nutritional supplements to gain weight, but if you drink it in place of meals you should get nutrients and lose weight. My favorite flavor is strawberry. Good luck! Hope this helps! =)

With diet and exercise it can help you either lose or gain weight. To lose weight, use the boost as a meal, to gain, drink the boost and eat a meal.

When boredom, depression, or perhaps stress causes cravings, find a nonfood way to satisfy them such as enjoying a walk, calling a friend, going for a bath, reading a book, or doing some yoga.
