I believe the average in the US is now 17,500 miles per year, up from the previous 15,000 miles per year.

If you're asking how long they usually last, I would say most modern, well maintained cars will last until around 200k miles, with exceptionally reliable brands such as Honda and Toyota managing 250k-300k miles fairly regularly. Again, maintenance is king.

It really depends on the person, but for an average, I would say a typical person would drive their car about 10,000 - 12,000 miles per year for personal use.

Over 300.000 miles now on my Toyota, and the only magor repair was the clutch.
