It was a white creamy sauce with little pieces of chicken in it.Its taste was kinda salty and creamy it was decorated with white cream and had sum pieces of toast in it too. It was incredible. What kinda soup is this? and how do we make it?

Chicken Bisque

Ingredients:
1/4 cup onions minced
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
3 cups chicken broth or bouillon
1 tablespoon paste
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 cup chicken diced cooked
1/4 cup vermouth or dry sherry
Dash nutmeg ground
Dash mace ground
1 tablespoon parsley minced fresh
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese grated
1 teaspoon chives finely sliced (optional)

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat sauté onion in butter or margarine for 3 minutes. Stir in flour. Cook and stir over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Add broth or bouillon, tomato paste and salt and pepper. Stirring, bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add half-and-half, chicken, vermouth or sherry, nutmeg and mace. Stirring, bring to just under boiling. Taste for seasoning.

In a small bowl mix parsley, cheese and optional chives. To serve, sprinkle soup with parsley mixture.

These sound good! A local Italian restaurant where I live serves "bread soup" that has a cream base with little bits of shredded chicken in it. It has toasted Italian type bread or croutons on it that have a chewy feel when dunked in the soup.

I have absolutely no idea.
But why don't you give the party hostess/host a call. I'm sure she/he would be more than happy to give you the recipe or at least tell you what the soup is called.

You need to contact the hosts of the party to find out what it was you ate. It could be a variation of many recipes
