Well, we used blue and silver and stars for our wedding, so you can guess who we're big fans of! :-)

I say go for it - it's a fun aspect of your personality that makes the wedding so much more personal and so much more fun to plan and attend. My advice would be to probably go with gold and use it as the accent color and select a dark green as your primary color.

Here's a few more ideas:

Check with your tux shop - they may be able to get a reversible vest for your husband. One side is plain fabric, the other is covered in Green Bay football logos. He can wear the plain side out for the ceremony and most of the pictures, then change it over for the reception.

You can find a Green Bay garter almost anywhere, especially on eBay.

Use green and yellow M&Ms for favors. You can do them in a clear topped aluminum tin like these: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/yhst-43572183985353_1937_79918410 and tie them in alternating green and yellow ribbons.

You can do a wedding cake something like this, alternating green and gold ribbons: http://www.nadlers.com/images/Wedding/gold%20swiss%20dot.jpg
Or do a traditional wedding cake and have a Packers groom's cake http://www.myrajeanscakes.com/greenbaycheese_png.gif

The bridesmaids can wear green dresses and carry yellow flowers. You can incorporate green and yellow flowers into your bouquet. The groomsmen can wear yellow roses tied with green ribbons for the boutineers.

You can have a TON of fun with this theme and it can still look pretty classy too. Good luck!

Not at all, weddings are supposed to be personal to the couple and by using those colours in your wedding it shows a joint interest, weddings are not just about the bride, but about the groom as well and having a shared interest reflected in your big day is brilliant. Best wishes and I hope you have a wonderful day (even though I have no idea what the Green Bay Packers are...sorry!!!)

I think those colors would be great no matter what the reason for them. It's all the better that they hold a special meaning too. I think it will be nice for you to look back on years from now and see those colors still associated with something that you both enjoy. Good idea and good color combo! But, if you aren't completely happy with it, or it's hard to find those colors, just do a paler shade. They have a really pretty green at David's Bridal right now called "clover" and a pretty yellow called "banana" that would look nice together. Good luck!

Little girls dream of the day they will get married and how perfect it will be. Your wedding is a day you will remember the rest of your life. I say if that's what you want go for it. Just remember to include your partner in the decisions. remember it's his wedding too. I think the colors sound like they would be beautiful together. Especially a pastel yellow. Good luck and I hope everything goes well!

Not at all. My only advoce would be not to take it too far, there is a fine line that some brides tend to cross when going with a theme. You dont want to shove it down peoples throats. Think about it in terms of accessorizing when you go out, the rule is before you leave always take off one piece of jewelry, the same can be said for your wedding theme. You want it to be classy not a joke, so walk the line and try not to cross it!

Good luck!

No way!!! A wedding should be a reflection of you and your groom...and if your both huge fans...your guests will probably be expecting a packer theme! Don't forget chunks of cheese wrapped with a pretty ribbon for your guests!!! : ) Seriously....go all out! You can even have the fight song played at your recption!

It is ya'lls wedding, anything you choose is fine. The colors are very attractive together, you and your fiance both like them, so what could possibly be wrong? I am getting married in the fall and love the darker autumn jeweled colors. It is all about you both that day, so go all out and enjoy it! Good luck and congratulations!

Your wedding is your wedding and do what you want to do. My father in law is a Pack fan and my father is a Bears fan. The day of our wedding they changed out their tux vests, ties, and socks for their favorite team logos (they got a lot of laughs).

I think you should do whatever you want. It's your wedding. At my wedding, we had a NY JETs ice sculpture, no different colors but, everyone got a kick out of it. We have so many pictures of people in front of it
