I was diagnosed with gastritous and unstable stomach acid, I was put on prevacid a week ago, it was getting better, not gone. Yesterday I started getting bad pains on my right side (on my side around to the start of my back) I was scared appendix but just last week i had an ultra sound of everything including apendix and gullblatter, also it only hurts when im walking, what could this be? Its sort of a burning feeling also all up and down my side

I think that more than likely you have an ulcer. That is very commonly associated with gastro-intestinal problems (aka gastritious, acid-reflux, etc...). I would call the doctor you have been seeing and tell him that you think you might have any ulcer. If the pain is on your right side and it feels like it is below your right breast and under the rib cage, then if you drink alchol you might have pancreatitis. This pain can go all the way around into your back. I think I would lean more towards the ulcer. Hope this helps!

Interesting. One Might think of kidney stones with your complaint of "pains on my right side", however without a concomitant complaint of nausea, inability to pee, and of course clinical evidence, it seems somewhat unlikely. Because you state that the pain occurs "only when walking", it may be a muscular/skeletal type injury. {more like a sprain/strain type thing). The burning feeling might suggest a nerve problem. If your distress continues, return to your MD for further eval. I hope you feel better.

These would be indicators of a center assault, and despite the fact that you're younger, that's no longer not possible. In typical, cardiac discomfort does NOT worsen with respiring, so it would be a muscle pressure or anything regarding your shoulder surgical procedure. You must definitely name your essential general practitioner immediately, as this would influence your upcoming surgical procedure. Good success!

You may have kidney stones which, if small enough, are not easily seen with ultrasound. The stones may be getting lodged in your ureter and causing flank pain. Is there blood in your urine? Call your doctor and ask for a CT scan of the kidneys.
