Seriously - if it was real flu you would not be sitting at your computer typing. You'd be in bed with aching joints and not be able to stay awake for very long. You also wouldn't be able to eat much, or want to, and you'd be quite thirsty when you woke up.

If your other half has man flu then the most you've got is a cold! There was quite a bad cold virus going around this past 6 weeks or so though (if you're in the UK).

Eat a garlic (whole) and drink plenty of orange juice. The combination of a garlic shock and vitamin C shock is supposed to fight off any symptoms of a flue. If you don't like raw garlic bake it in the oven, without peeling it first. You can easily squeeze out the garlic bits.

If it's flue as opposed to flu, I suggest you get out of the chimney.

Just get in bed with him and comfort one another. It's a cold miserable day anyway.
Don't forget the hot water bottle for the shivering.

I like the hot drink Theraflu or Wellness tea by Celestial Seasonings. time will heal you eventually, though. make sure you drink a lot, too. gatorade is good.
