where is a good place to meet people i dont drink so a bar is out and i dont attend church

dee_ann, I too am 46 and I don't hang out at the pubs nor do I attend church and I have not met anyone either. I work 58 hours a week and am dead stinkin tired when I am done so I would have to gesture that meeting someone through family or friends. That seems the safest bet, hopefully, friends and family will have a little history on him. Also, don't you find being this age difficult? It is so hard to meet new people to begin with, then to meet someone who tickles your fancy, the intimacy scene (getting there) is a bit scary. Just my opinion.

I'd suggest going out w/some friends (girls night out) take in a movie, or have some type of game night at your house(men love games too) have them invite friends, the more the better and get creative.
Or...concerts, Plays, Checkout what your area has to offer, look in the paper, for different groups, etc... or look up on line for similiar interest groups

the gym,library,grocery store,feed store,coffee house. Watch local kids sports because some of the coaches are single dads. Also try plentyoffish.com. It is a totally free dating site and the majority of people are really nice. Check out the forums and sign up. I have met some nice men and women off this site. I haven't found the man of my dreams yet but I know he is still out there.

U can still go to a bar & not drink...try speed dating, at the grocery store, 7-eleven, any social gathering.

Take an evening college course. Not only will you meet some interesting people, but you'll improve your mind at the same time.

well, maybe through friends, the internet is acutally becoming a pretty good place to meet people, as long as you're careful and cautious about meeting them. A lot of times, you just have to wait and wait and wait...... LOL

Just go to clubs with friends, you don't have to drink there. Also you can dance with more than one guy without being called a cheater. The guy you like the best you get his phone number.

First, it depends on who you'd like to meet, like men, women, or both. Joining community leagues, the gym, quilting , maybe you have a specific hobby, there are groups for everything.

Go to you local College and enrol in some night classes or try a keep fit class at you local gym.
