Yes, that is a very arrogant puddle. A puddle with understanding would know that the puddle lives in a temporary container and while existence as a puddle is fleeting, its essence, water droplets, is eternal.

Extremely poor analogy, in fact, if you think for even a second. There is no association between the existence of the puddle and its size.
