I had this soar throat last night. And when I woke up today. I had this white thing on the side of my mouth by my tonsils. I finally got it out and it was like this hard white thing??? Does anyone know what that could be??? It was really gross!

It's an infection..so the white thing is kinda like tonsil pus. I used to get them ALL the time until I had my tonsils out.

Wow, that IS gross. You probably shouldn't have done that. I really really think you should go to the doctor... I have been in and out of the hospital for months with throat trobl and finally had my tonsils removed so trust me and get to the doc. And don't take anything else out of your throat, okay? That can just let more yucky's in and then you are really gonna be in a world of hurt!

It's probably signs of an infection. Consult your doctor. He/she may want to do a throat culture, to see if it's strep throat. You may need some antibiotics, if that's the case. It'd be best not to try & remove anything from your mouth in the future. You could spread infection via your fingers & via what you pulled out of your mouth.

White puss on your tonsils is an infection. Possibly Strep throat see your dr

it is probably strep throat or tonsilitis... probably from your sinuses draining...go to the doc and get an antibiotic.
