I know you seek deep answers on life's core issues, but without reading your details on your question, I'd say I make the world a better place by leaving it cleaner than when I got there, wherever that is.
In public places, I'll pick up a bit of trash and toss it in the traschan, or use a few paper towels to dry off the sink. If everyone would do that, the world would be all sparkly :) lol

I don't give money to anything anymore. I give time, which is actually allot more valuable. I have found that there are many people who are willing to give money, so they don't have to give time. All it takes is a few people to give time to collect it.
This year my family and I have raised over 30,000 for MS and CP research. There is no way that I could afford that on my own by donating money. But by running fund raising events, and organizing parties we have been able to do it with only 20 weekends.
The best part is you can have fun doing these things, and at the end of the day the money actually goes to the right places.
I used to give money to churches, but have found that most offerings go into keeping churches running, they don't go towards the people in society who really need it. Giving tithes to church might make you feel better. But in the end it keeps the pastor paid, the lights on, and the heat up. Very little of it goes to feed homeless, or support veterans etc.....Church money stays in the church.
Donate time at a local lodge or fraternal organization if you really want to help mankind, or run your own fund raisers to fully control the help you provide.

I smile at people I don't know - and try to be a generally nice person. Peace is in my heart.
I drive a small car.
I volunteer my time to those less fortunate.
My cause is love. I hope that because of me - there's a little more love in the world.

Now, I teach high school kids the value of work and the ideals needed to survive. I hope they will remember my stubborn refusal to adulterate my products, even at risk of financial loss.
They also learn leadership skills and the ability to evaluate every situation and develop a strategy to suit.
We take "geeks" and jd's mix them, get them to cooperate, defend each other, and turn out a product. It's nuts, but they both do, in physical and intellectual realms.
It's what's left from a football playing geek in his old age.

Teach people about selflessness. We share the world's resources. We care what environment the next generations have to live in. We care how people should have their free wills.
We love peace.

i find ways to get hippies arrested.
whether its by telling the cops they have drugs (they usually do but sometimes i have to plant it)
or by beating someone up and blaming it on a hippie who is so high he will never remember what he did.
the world is a better place without hippies
