I have an old laptop with no cd writing option.
Is there any way I can reverse that with a software program?
(If my ouestion is stupid, forgive me,I'm blonde!)

there is no such thing as a stupid question regardless if you are blonde or not !
if its a older lap top, you will have to buy a "external usb cd/dvd writer", these cost very little these days approx £40, it doesent really matter what make
try and google amazon, big pockets etc and have a look there
you usualy get the software with it too

you can buy a cd/dvd combo drive for the laptop which will allow you to write cds and view dvds

if that was posible itwould take a long time to burn a cd it would be best if you bought a new laptop

no u cannot. u can buy a external CD burner and that will work...
