Some dogs are very smart. It sometimes depends on the breed or the temperament of the dog. If you have trained your dog well and it loves you it loves being with you so if it loves you it will love learning with you! Try entering it in crufts or other dog shows!

Dogs are like people,some are smart & some are not. I spend lots of time training my dogs for the first year of their life.I clicker train them to think for themselves.I have one that is very smart. Her dad was smart & so was her mum.I think it also has alot to do with the breeding.

The smarter the dog is usually a reflection on the owner. If you spend a ton of time training your dog then your dog will be smart. So actually it's you who have made your dog smart.

Your dog maybe smart because you may be over the top intelligent or his intelligence maybe in his blood.
