There is nothing wrong with a guy using hair products that are marketed to women. It's all the same stuff. If you are using a flat iron to make it long and straight, be sure to use something like Redken's Smooth Down-Heat Glide.

There is mens conditioner out there, try a pharmacy or you local hair salon. Loriell if you can afford is the sweetest stuf ever! But yeah chick hair products won't hurt ya, just be careful to not get products with girly scents, smelling like a mixture of strawberries and apricots may not work for you. Also just as an added tip, gel in long curly hair is a gross look. Perhaps try the tiniest bit of spray in hair wax to keep it under control. Good luck Matey

Structurally, hair is hair. The shampoo / conditioner will not have anyway to determine your gender and decide to not work if if detects you are of the 'wrong' gender.

Translation: The shampoo / conditioner will work just fine no matter what your gender. As for which brand / kind to use? Read & compare the labels. Don't worry -- nothing bad will happen just because you're a guy.

Conditioners are not men/women, they are hair types. try different and find one that is right for your hair.
