That is a proper transfusion since the patient is Rh + and can receive rh - blood.

nothing, except improving their anemia. Du positive is a form of Rh positive. the types are compatible. you could not, however, give A negative with Du positive blood to an A negative patient. they would have a transfusion reaction.
