We are trying to make our home more green, whats better for the environment- Cable or ADSL?

As the infrastructure is already in place, and neither uses significantly more power than the other, it makes absolutely no difference.
Some people would make the argument that you should be wary of wireless in the home because of exposure to EMFs (electromagnetic fields).

Cable is faster than ADSL. I'd choose that. I doubt that chosing one over the other will affect the environment. You can save miniscule power if you match your internet service with your phone provider. If you have cable internet, matching it with cable phone will let you do everything through one modem and vice versa.
