No. I don't know who told you that, but while sleeping with wet hair, all you are going to experience with is more tangles, and a wet pillow. :)

NO! Who told you that? But sleeping with wet hair will surely make your hair and the pillow stink! It can also give some nasty sort of headaches bad enough to ruin a whole day.

At night you should put your hair in a satin scarf, cap or sleep on a satin pillow to prevent damage caused by friction while sleeping and to maintain a proper moisture balance. This is basic maintenance.
A head held up against a pillow all night can also retain excess moisture for hours. Try to allow your locks to dry completely before going to bed. If you cannot let them air dry long enough, blow dry them.
Another benefit of getting them completely dry is they will not flatten while you sleep.

where did you get an idea like that? i do not think so. i go to bed with wet hair all the time and didn't get white/gray hair from that.

Absolutely not. Hair goes white because of hormones and not because of anything you do with it.
Don't worry because stress causes grey/white hair!
