A male dog is called a dog, and a female dog is called a b i t c h .
You can always confuse the stupid American spell-checker by the judicious use of spaces! They don't seem to know that the correct name for a female dog is b i t c h because they think it's some kind of swear word ! ! !

yes, that's what a female dog is- but I don't know what they call a male dog- it can't be bastard -because that is a child born out of wed-lock so what are male dogs called. of course I'd know the female term but not the male- go figure! People refer to that term down this way normally if they are breeding dogs and people want to adopt- it's just used figuratively- not as a dogs name- you know that. It would not sound so bad if people had not misused the name for so many centuries.

The correct term is Dam and Sire. But a ***** is a female dog. If you every around my demon dog in heat you would know why they call them ***** lol.. Just teasing . I don't like the term ***** but it has been here a long time and nothing is going to change it. I really think all female dog should get together and picket their rights not to be called a *****. And my demon dog will lead the pack lol

Dog - Canis lupus familiaris
A male canine is referred to as a dog, while a female canine is called a b*tch.
Offspring are generally called pups or puppies until they are about a year old. A group of offspring is a litter.
The process of birth is whelping.
The words cur, tyke, and mongrel are generally viewed as derogatory in America, whereas in the United Kingdom mongrel is the unique technical word for a mixed-breed dog, so is not a term of disparagement.
In Hawaii, mixed breed dogs are referred to as poi dog, and in the Bahamas, they call them Pot Cakes (referring to the table-leftovers they are fed).
Also, the person who stated that dogs are called sires (referring to a father of puppies) and dams (referring to a mother of puppies) was absolutely correct.
Whether you feel it's right or not is up to you. As with many things in the English language, it all depends on the context it's used in.

i might purely like her to say sorry to Hillary Clinton for calling her a 'whiner' while Clinton dared to declare the media wasn't being honest to her. Now that Palin spends maximum of her time speaking concerning to the 'gotcha media' and thinks that each physique is against her, you will possibly think of she'd be reminded of her own attack on Clinton.
