I do not agree. They wanted to remove oppression and exploitation from the present socio-economic as well as political system. If democracies facilitate this, may it should be acceptable for them.

The history of the Naxals goes back a long time from the Nizam's time. They were like Robin hood, Fought for the Oppressed in Villages, Fought against Evil Landlords, Stood by the defense less, fatherless, Widows. Generally they did not worry the Good Officials and were the friends of the people. They are also know as the Peoples War Group.
As long as there are the Poor, Weak, Oppressed and ill treated in India there will be Naxals. There are many good Naxals, society has made them. The corrupt Police System has made them. The bad Politics have made them, during Indira Gandhi's time innocent College Boys were deemed as Naxal and dragged out into the Forrest and shot dead.
On the same Token I would like to mention. Communism like Prohibition is a Good Idea that will never work. So the Naxals should maybe rethink their Political Affiliations and start their own ideology and maybe give up Violence like other organizations like the IRA and such.
Good Luck Naxals, Volience dont work. But then when you come to power dont become the Courpt Politicians.

Motto may be what it is, the present secular government of is not favouring communism. However, unity is diversity is there in our present government. That is the reason there is Communist government in West Bengal and even Communist Party is supporting the present Ruling Part of our Indian government. Practically, Naxalism can never form communist government and Russian utterly failed in their approach.

We should appreciate their dream. But communism like universal love can only be in theory and can not be practised because it is against human nature. Man is basically selfish and any philosophy against this is bound to to fail. The only way to alter this nature of man is through genetic means.
