You really don't need to lose weight. The average height for someone who is 5'5 is around 125 lbs, so you are actually under your ideal weight. Don't fall into the trap of dieting when you don't need to. I was unhappy at 5'6 and 125 lbs and lost 16 lbs and developed an eating disorder. Definitely not worth it. I was 18 years old when I developed this and am now almost 21. You are young as well. You're still growing most likely too, so just wait and see how your body changes/

However, you can exercise and eat healthy. Depending on what you're doing/eating now, you may lose a little weight when doing this, but you don't need to lose 7 lbs.

Wow....I would LOVE to be 114 (I'm also 5'5", but, weight almost 140 :( , although when I was 16 I weighted a heck of a lot less, so, I know where you are coming from with how you feel you should look in high school) Anyways, if you really have your heart set on being 107, then look to only loose 1 or 2 pounds a week. (that's the safest amount you can loose). You didn't say what your diet is like, or if you exercise, but at your age , all you should need to do is just eat healthy (not starve yourself) and do moderate exercies. Do you play any sports? Do you have a gym membership? If neither, then, just start off power-walking a few days a week, then, try to do it 6 out of 7 & eventualy kick it up a notch & go for jogs. You are only looking to loose 7 lbs. , so, you should be able to hit your goal (if you sitcik to the plan) w/in 8-10 weeks. Just don't over-do yourself. You may also way to do some toning exercises, so that you have some definition & not look like just bones. If you don't have any dumbells, just start curling heavy cans of soup (assuming you don't have a gym membership). Also, start doing crunches to give your stomach some toning.

You are at the right weight now at 114 pounds! I am 5 ft 4 and I was thought to be anerexic at 105 pounds. my friends were shoving food down my throat. Then my doc at the time told me for my height my wieght range should be 115 to 125 pounds. I also did not feel well at 105 pounds either. When I got back up to 115 people quit worrying about me and I felt a lot better.

don't be stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am also 5'5" and my ideal weight is 135, if you are trying to get to 107 you are gonna look anorexic if you don't already.
I would suggest a good high protean diet along with a aerobic exercise plan, if your a girl you probably want to stay away from the weights but if your a guy get some protean mix and put on some weight!!!!!

hey girl
you sound perfectly fine, honestly i am the same way. and ill never be happy with my weight. Everyone always says "well why dont you diet and exercise" but it doesnt work for me, ill never be as thin as I want to be that way. but thats only because your body doesnt want you to lose weight, because your already so skinny. keep doing what your doing, and eating what your eating and if you dont lose the weight you want to lose, dont get your hopes up because its only because your so skinny already. Healthy eating can cause you to feel better inside as well as outside. good luck!
