Macaroni cheese and chips followed by great dollops of chocolate ice cream. If that lot lot doesn't comfort you, nothing will ! ! !

I know this may sound yucky, but give it a chance. When I was little and we went camping, my mum would make us a meal from minced onion, suateed with minced beef. To that she would add two tins of baked beans. I use baxters now, and then added a generous squirt of ketchup to that. cooked it till bubbly, and then spooned over a split burger bun. To this day, when I am in need of comfort, I make this (I call it my camp food), and it reminds of of the good times. Not bad eating as well lol

For comfort food i revert back to childhood -
Sausages, mash and beans
Or my mum used to make a dish for me with chopped corned beef, mixed with a tin of baked beans, topped with mashed potato and then cheese and toasted.

Man, there's so many! I'd have to say definently meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes, saurbrauten meatballs, potpies, spaghetti and meatsauce, stuffed peppers, turkey dinners, homemade fudge.... these are all things that bring me back to my childhood. My family are great cooks and whenever I eat these foods it really brings me back!
