Let me make this comparison. Your wife/husband has cancer. You want the doctors to stop treatment...the cancer isn't in YOUR body so why bother, right? Tell me HOW our country isn't like your wife/husband in this scenario? Tell me HOW the cancerous terrorism isn't going to spread if we don't fight it?

I'd LOVE to personally join the military but I can't cuz I have asthma. Just because I can't fight, doesn't mean I shouldn't support their efforts.

sounds like you've got your panties in a bunch, auditor. My entire family has served or is serving in the military right now. I've probably been more involved with these organizations than YOU. Don't make assumptions about people without knowing them, you just make yourself look stupid.

Does nobody think terrorists will follow us to our own soil if we leave their country? Does it REALLY seem like that much of a stretch to think that? I personally like to feel safe, and I think that's what our military is doing. I'm really trying to understand other points of view, thank you for your honest views.
BUT...don't call ME stupid if you can't even speak/spell proper english. That's no way to win someone to your point of view.

Okay. Interesting analogy. These Iraqi terrorist seems to come in the lime light and multiply after Iraq was invaded. From the so-called official accounts, most of the 19 terrorist from 9/11 where from Saudi Arabia and the the Taliban of Afghanistan were responsible, but yet Iraq is invaded. I don't have an answer in what to do about the current situation. But, people will fight back with what they have. Imagine some one invades your home and dictates how you move about and takes your money, credit cards (househould's oil/resources) in front of your wife and children. What would you do?

If your going to make a comparison, use the whole truth. Your doctor tells you that your neighbor has cancer, so believing him, you operate on your wife. It doesn't cure the cancer, so you send in more doctors to cut off more stuff from your wife. Your neighbor's cancer spreads, and has no effect from your wife's surgery. How many more surgery's are you going to perform on your wife, to cure your neighbors cancer?
If you recall your recent history, Bush said that Iraq HAD weapons of Mass Destruction. Then the story changed and the had the capability of producing weapons, then he changed the story again, and said that Iraq had trained the terrorists from 9/11, then he changed that story as well and said that they had the capability to train those terrorists. Then Bush said that, he's really a bad person and he would eventually would have done something to justify the war. Bush also said that North Korea and Iran are Terrorist places. Why haven't we attacked there instead?

How about a better analogy. You infect your wife with nanobots..now as time goes on she is not getting better and you keep flooding more and more bots into her...at some point wouldn't it be better to remove them?
Anyway basic facts..Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11 and if they WMD then they hid them REALLY well so our excuse to go in was baseless and by getting rid of Saddam, as much of an a hole as he was, we created a explosive vaccum which is unstable and has spread outside its borders. So now it has been at least 4 years and I want troops to come home now..why? Because it is time for Iraq to stand up on own feet, be a big boy and take care of their own house. It is NOT NOT NOT our country and we have NO RIGHT AT ALL IN ANY WAY to force them to make their country like ours. I am tired of Americans dying for a people that won't fight for their own country. Their own army quits and walks off instead of going into high risk areas! And we are the forigners!!! WE are making it easy for terrorists to recruit because we are not leaving which tells world "We're just gonna take over".
USA didn't ask France to stay for 10-20 years after the Revolutuionary way, we thanked them, then showed them the door. It is about time USA uses the door in Iraq and let's them fix their country...if we force a fix on them it will not hold up without us there, and I will see the Earth burn before all those people who died did so in vain.

secondly try to take a good care of yourself,rather than taking care of problems that u cant even explain it.
thirdly since u r sick,so please don't make other people sick.
fourthly i think u should try and try and make all your efforts to join the army and go to Iraq,I will be more than happy to receive your coffin when u come back and i promise you that every year i pay u a visit at the cemetery.

Despite those here that do not understand real life, that is a good comparison except that in this case the cancer is contagious and will eventually spread everywhere if not stopped. We should fight tooth and nail to kill the disease no matter what the weakling anti-war liberals say.
