Your question wasn't tactless. The question was witty and acerbic. My answer is yes, just like he doesn't exist.

That's an odd question because it reminds me of a story of a person who came to Christianity from another religion. When he started reading the Bible he commented something like this:
"Wow, this Christian God is always speaking!"
Gen 1:3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
Gen 1:6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."
Gen 1:9 And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.
Gen 1:11 And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so.
Genesis 1:14-15 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so.

The "God" I know to be real is the Cosmos and everything in it. Ironically, the more intelligent part of the Cosmos is dumb. The speaking portion of the Cosmos (people) is considerably less intelligent, as many of these answers illustrate.

God can speak in an audible voice to any person He chooses. However God speaks to His children, those born again by the Spirit, Spirit to spirit. Jesus, the Chief Shepherd has said His sheep, all Christains, can hear His voice. In the Revelation all believers are commanded to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. God speaks when we open up our spiritual ears to hear.

Why should God solve your problem? Is it God's fault that you are in this situation? What have you done to solve your problem? God is not an instrument to be used to solve our problems. God has given us everything we need so that we can live in peace and be happy. Does this mean we should not pray anymore? Of course not. When we pray, we should just let go and let God be God.
May the Lord's peace be with you!

Yet again, another tactless attack on those who believe in God. Will all the people asking questions like yours remain dumb forever???

You have no faith. God speaks to us all the time. God is omnipresent. Keep searching and you will find the truth. Intellectually, Pantheism is a good place to start, but you need to search for Spirit and not religion. Peace be with you.

He is not speechless - YOU just cant hear Him. I can because I love Him.
My friend, you obviously do not realise that you are talking of the creator of the heavens and earth. Because if you realised who you were talking about, I am sure you would pluck out your wicked tongue in shame.

Hasn't He given us the Holy Bible in which we may search for answers and the way to salvation? So how is He speechless and silent?
As the scriptures say, hope that is seen is not hope. Thus we need faith, hope, endurance, and love and let's us not forget that Christians need to purify themselves so we need righteous acts.
The one that practices sin willfully will not be forgiven - it becomes unforgivable sin.
