Selected/Copied the Excel cell, Then to Word, Edit>Paste Special as Unformatted Paste Link. Fine, the value appears in Word. Selected in Word, Tools> Options>Print update links
When then I update the spreadsheet, and go to print the Word doc, the link does not update....Why, How can I do this?

Thanks for a start, Pheonix... Find that F9 only works if you select whole (Ctrl A) then F9. Microsoft imply by setting "update" links on print you dont need to do this, I have about 8 separate word docs......

You're not doing anything wrong, that should do it. I've just tested it in Version 2002, 2003 and 2007. Try selecting the text in Word and pressing F9 (Update fields). This should fix your problem. Good luck! ;-)

EDIT: No probs, well done! I meant to say (above) select all text (Crtl A) so well worked out!
