John 4:24 - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. He is a supernatural being - the bible is to be discern spiritually. Somethings you/I will not understand but only to believe by faith what was written in the scriptures is true. Is God naked? NO!

Reading through the scriptures, on those occassions when a physical discription of God is given, he is either shown to be so abstruct that the concept of clothing would be meaningless (he is a fire from the waist up and the waist down), or he is shown as clothed.

But as he lacks a physical body, the concept of clothing is meaningless where he is concerned.

If you take a look at the scriptures, specificlly Revelation, it gives a description of Christ as he is in heaven. Rev 1:15 says he is clothed with a garment down to the foot. Christ did say that if you have seen him you have seen the Father, because the are the same. So if Christ is clothed, so is the Father.

What it means to be created in gods image is that we have eternal souls which live on after death gods is a being with a eternal spirit and he never dies that is what it means when the bible says we are created in his image meaning he has giving us eternal souls which live on forever after our physical bodies die

this could be a play on words-adam and eve were given the--light of life--so god is probably an energy being that just put that energy into a form that could function in this environment

No! If God can create Versace, Dolce and Gabbana, Dona Karan; there is no reason that He can not create His personal entourage of great designers to design His clothes!!!

Possibly. More than likely, otherwise Adam and Eve would have noticed and said something.

The Bible says that God is a Spirit; therefore he has no need of clothing. In anticipation of your response to this, yes, mankind was created in God's image, but his image refers to God's holiness, not his physical appearance. God clothed Adan and Eve because of their sin, not because God wears clothing.
