My boyfriends parents have three children all boys there is a large age gap between the middle and youngest because they were seeking medical advice regarding trying to concieve a girl they found out they couldn't something to do with their genes,
My parents had 4 children twin girls a middle girl with a year between them, then had a boy with two years between him and the middle.
We have often had debates on what sex children we would have and if we'd be able to have girls even though his parents couldn't. My twin sister ahd a girl but her BF parents had both boys and girls.

Get your kit off, enjoy each other, wait 9 months and then you will have your answer.

In my husband's family, on his father's side, boys dominate. The men in his family have produced 1 (and only 1) girl every generation - except one. The girl in that generation was from a man not in the blood line.

We conceived the first girl for our kids' generation. Now it looks like we may be having a 2nd girl to add to that generation =) There was actually some jealousy from his family - primarily the women married into it. They all wanted to have girls but had boys.

It is possible that you're more likely to have boys, but in the end it truly is a 50/50 chance.

The sex of the child is determined by the male. Therefore your sister or parents will have no impact on this.
Generally it is a random event, but if there is something that runs in your boyfriend's family that favours boys over girls, then it is more likely you will have boys.
However, he might not have inherited this trait.

Theres no way of telling for sure but I know its all up to your boyfriend and his soldiers. I am kinda in the same situation. My boyfriends family have 3 boys first then a girl. So far all of the family is continuing that way and I have 2 boys also.

The mans sperm is what decides what you have. he has male and female sperm and what ever gets to your egg first is what you will have. Male sperm are faster but die quicker and female is slower but live longer.
