I have a Mach 460 out of a 2002 mustang and i was wondering if there was any way i could get the stereo to work in a 1998 Ranger? Thanks , James

that radio needs two amplifier that are in the trunk so the radio by it self is not going to work in your vehicle,

now if you want to take the amplifiers and the wiring YES it can be install in your vehicle and it will sound very good there is no reason for it not to sound good
also some mustangs have a factory subwoofer and tweters you also use them in that vehicle but a new box needs to be made for the factory woofer

No. The Mustang Mach system uses a separate speaker/amplifier system that's not used in the Ranger. Even if you could adapt the plugs, the sound quality would be very poor.

If the Mach stereo has a security device. For example it has a flashing red light that says security. You would have to have a dealership to unlock the code. Another issue would be the connectors on the back to the unit. This would have to match up or you would have to buy a harness and make modifictions.
