The TV still seems to work, and the set top box has power to it and the green light on - and yet all of a sudden is says "No signal". Any ideas?!

I agree with the two previous answers but would add, press the menu button and do a channel search. Turning the power off and on again has usually restored mine to its previous happy state. Good luck.

Depending on the make, there shoul'd be a small re-set button at the back. Hold it in for 10 seconds and it might re programme it'self

Check all connections, if they are OK. switch off at main plug, leave for 5 mins on so, then plug back in and switch back on. That usually does it for me.
If still no luck, buy a new one, they are much cheaper now.

Unplug it... give it 1 minute.. then plug it back in. Give it another minute to get sync'd in. If still not working, check all cables are securely in place.

yes mine does that occasionally turn it of at the mains then on again check connections ie scart leads aerial connections should get your pictures back it works for me
