yes it does
once you pick a color for the brackets they are cemented on your teeth and they are yours
the only thing you can chage the color of is the rubber bands that are on the brace work
you don't want to keep changing the color of your brackets anyway they are cemented onto your teeth and to take them off they would have to take all the wire out break each bracket off your teeth clean away all the cement on the teeth and put new on IT IS A VERY LONG PROCESS
if you have anymore questions you can email me
my son has had braces for 2 yrs now and i have another 4 to go

no, the color rubberbands are changed free every time you go back and get them adjusted. the first answer is wrong. she misunderstood and thinks you mean the actual wire. but it is really the rubberbands that have the color. here is a website to show you the colors you can get. so yes, the rubberbands are free and you can get them changed at any time. FREE OF CHARGE.
I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK :-)

Nope, getting new colors does not cost extra. Every adjustment, change, etc. is already covered in the price.

if you have metal brackets the orthodontist must have felt it was best for your case, there are acrylic "clear" brackets but it varies case by case....you can ask for a change of elastics that is common. a lot of kids change the elastics to suit their mood and or holiday color themes....good luck.
