Alright Vanilla Ice, I'm listening.

Buy some extra firm tofu. Slice the block into 4 equal slices and marinate in soy sauce on both sides for about 15 minutes total. Beat an egg and dip slices in egg. Dip in seasoned flour and fry for a few minutes on each side in vegetable oil.

Boiled egg on toast is the ultimate comfort food, as is beans on toast. If you want something a bit more try an omelette yum yum yum!! Dont buy horrible supermarket processed food make something nice and be proud to eat it all up when you finish cooking, it least you will know what you are putting in your body

Make refried beans-- Nearly as eash as buying a nasty can of premade ones, but so much better and lower sodium.

Get:
1. A CAN OF PINTO BEANS
2. A BAG OF SHREDDED MEXICAN CHEESE (asado, queso blanco and jack)
3. ONION.

Fry the beans in a bit of oil for a minute and stir in the chopped raw onions, cheese and a dash of salt. The whole thing takes less than 5 minutes....Cheap, easy filling and nutritious...Throw it all in a tortilla with some guacamole and/or sour cream if you need to! .

buy a packet of dried pasta, a jar of pesto sauce, a packet of ready grated parmesan cheese.
Boil pasta for 10mins in enough water or follow packet instruction then drain water and mix in the pesto and serve the parmesan on top. Could also have some tomatoes with it.
Long lasting filler and healthy !

I'm afraid, good food needs preparation: time and effort.
But, you not a "salade composee" with,
rocket, water cress, croutons (hot is better), cherry tomatoes, walnuts and something to replace the meat...+ oil and balsamic vinegar, 2 toasts and some tapenade.

Get some instant noodles. My daughter lives off them. You can get Tesco's own brand, they're cheap, and you just pour some water from the kettle on them and let them soak.
Can't get much lazier than that.
