As someone who has posted previously has pointed out its called déjà vu. However they failed to mention in the test result part of their paragraph that a few people who claimed déjà vu at an instant in the lab were able to reveal things about the room which they had never been in, as they walked in. Things they couldn't have known unless it was thier 2nd visit.

There's a term for it. It's called "deja vu" meaning in French "already seen".
It is one of the many unsolved mysteries of the human state, where there seems to be no logical explanation at all. Yet, it is experienced by every person at some point in time.
The popular myth is that in a previous lifetime, you have been to that place and now when you visit it for the first time in this life, it looks starngely familiar. You can't know it but the memory is there in your deepest subconscious from the earlier lifetime.
Another theory is that there are seven parallel universes co-existing at the same time, where seven different scenarios involving the same people are being played out in seven different ways. These are supposed to be the alternative truths that might be possible, depending upon the choices we make. For example, in another parallel universe right now, you Jooda Groova (perhaps with a better name), may be doing something totally different at this very moment.
And so on and so forth...

Déjà vu
The term "déjà vu" (French for "already seen", also called paramnesia) describes the experience of feeling that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously.
The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eeriness", "strangeness", or "weirdness". The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past. Déjà vu has been described as "Remembering the future."
The experience of déjà vu seems to be very common; in formal studies 70% or more of the population report having experienced it at least once. References to the experience of déjà vu are also found in literature of the past, indicating it is not a new phenomenon. It has been extremely difficult to invoke the déjà vu experience in laboratory settings, therefore making it a subject of few empirical studies. Recently, researchers have found ways to recreate this sensation using hypnosis.

Your brain is not like a computer, where everything is stored in it's own little box. It's kind of like a kid's toy box. Everything gets thrown in with everything else. Your brain sees nothing wrong with putting the toys in different combinations when you look into the box. It's actually a healthy creative thing. Enjoy it.
