Hi there,
i think by asking you are admitting there is something wrong with what's going on in your life at the moment. it's nothing to be ashamed about, so many people go through depression and mental health issues. If you are a child or still at school, perhaps seeking help of the school counsellor or someone you trust like a teacher an dthey can get you the help you need.
Otherwise please go to see your GP who can check your wounds and also refer you to a counsellor or some professional who deals with these cases day in and out. Don't feel embarressed about it or that your the only one because there are so many. I know how daunting getting help can be but once you start to get the right kind of help, it will be worth it!
There could be reasons for your depression and self harming actions, whether that be conscious or not,a counsellor can really help you explore the possibiltys and help you confront it and get better. Things can get better, trust someone who has been there and still fighting!
Get help, because you truely deserve it!:)
all the best! x

Pray for help first and foremost!
I know it's cold out but try taking up a kind of sport/exercise/hobby of SOME kind to take your mind elsewhere for short spells. It may sound wierd but sweating is a brilliant way to release toxins in your body and make you feel better - it is also a good way to release/direct your emotions into something positive.
Crying is also a good way of releasing those toxins.
God bless you!

Stop cutting yourself and think...(or maybe write it down)
What is it that you're depressed over?
Why are you depressed?
When did this start?
and most ImportantLY
ask yourself how can i get rid of this depressing feeling?

Don't forget that this earth of ours is so full of possibilities bad ones and good ones..
but if you died you would never experience the good feelings

Get help. You can't resolve this yourself. Don't know which country you are but you will be able to get the appropriate contact from you doctor or health centre. Listen to them and do what they say.You will get over this and lead a much happier life. Lots of best wishes to you.

Come and e-mail me from my website www.letitout.wetpaint.com . I used to suffer from severe depression and used to cut really badly. I can offer you some non-professional advice if you don't want to go to the doctors, although I strongly suggest you do.

Remove yourself from the problem that is causing you to want to cut yourself.

Find something to do that interests you to keep you busy other than cutting yourself.
