If the prosthesis is made from titanium it will remain in the retort or the cremation oven, as the temperature of the oven is not high enough to melt it. This will be removed from the oven after the cremation has concluded and will be separated out from the ash which remains. They are normally thrown into a box along with all the other non combustible material and eventually sold for scrap metal. The money raised from the sale of this scrap metal is normally given to charity, it certainly does not amount to much. Don't believe all the stupid stories about gold teeth getting picked out thats nonsence, the temperature of the oven is so high, around 2000dg that the gold and other such things just vaporise. There are strict regulations regarding cremation and an officer from the department of health will attend. Once the remains, including the casket are out of the public eye, the only thing to be removed from the casket will be the name plate on the lid which remains near the oven that the person is being cremated in so that at all times they know who the person is they are cremating. Once the body has been cremated the ashes go into a type of machine which has large stainless steel balls in it so that the remaining bones and other matter will be crushed into a finer powder. There is only one process of cremating the remains, not several stages as some might suggest. Caskets are never opened as it would pose a tremendous public health risk to those who work in the crematorium as they have no idea what the person died from and if exposed to the body could contract any number of diseases. Just because the person is dead does not mean that you cannot catch a contagious disease from it. Hope this clears the matter up. I have witnessed hundreds of cremations.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.
