Either a P95 By ruger, or a Walther P22 w/laser? you can get either for same price and its your first gun to buy, not shoot. You have maybe about a couple of months shooting.

And you can only choose between one of these. Which one and Why?

just some creative answers to get people's opinion but you cannot choose another......Think as if it really is your fist gun with a cuple of months of practice with a 22.

I wait for your answers thank you....

This is like asking "If you were going to buy a ball, would you buy a softball or a soccer ball?" The P-22 is petite, double action .22 autoloader intended for plinking, informal target shooting or perhaps dispatching small pests.

The p-89 is a 9MM double action with the primary role of self defense.

I have P-22 I purchased for my younger daughter. She is petite and the Walther fits her small hands well. She took a while to master the double action trigger but for her purpose she shoots it well enough.

My experience with P-89 is that of a pistol that is loose and rattles and has lackluster to only adequate accuracy. However they normally are very rugged and just about always go bang when the trigger is pulled, not matter what kind of ammo you put into it.

For a first pistol between the two, I'd take the Walther. I paid just $300 for the one I've got and it came with the factory comp, less than what a new P-89 will cost you. My reasoning is simply that of the two, you can afford to shoot the Walther a lot more since ammo is a lot cheaper.

No matter what other considerations you may come up with, practice, practice and more practice is what it boils down too. Once you have gained reasonable experience and have mastered the basics of pistol marksmanship, then you could look to a larger centerfire pistol.

Good luck.

RUGER hands down if you really are that new to fire arms you may not understand the reasons short form you can make a Ruger shoot like a 22 but you cant make a 22 shoot like a Ruger

Once profecent with a 22 you will want a better gun any way I dont mean quality just more gun

Go with the Ruger. It's built like a tank and will shoot whatever you feed it. Walther is overrated because of the James Bond thing.

One caveat about Ruger. Sometimes the grip is a little large for smaller hands and the trigger pull is long. I also prefer the decock Ruger models rather than safety. That's a personal choice.

I have been a satisfied Ruger owner for 33 years and have never had any trouble what so ever.
I would have to say I would go Ruger and never look back.
I have several Ruger rifles and pistols and shoot them more the average 10 gun owners.
I like to shoot and demand that my weapons can keep up and be dependable and shoot accurately.
That my opinion.
