Mostly right. This variant is in the Roma language and was written by Bosnian poet Abdulah Sidran. Interestingly Bregovic did a Croatian version of the song, "Djurdjev Dan" at the same time. Both speak about St. George's Day and the rituals connected to it. Very appropriately, the Croatian version speaks of Slabvic rituals (picking some flowers as an erotic charm) and this one about rituals the Roma people would perform on the same day.

It's the Romani language song for St' George's Day / Herdelezi, which is a holiday celebrated in the Balkans. For the Roma, it is a spring festival & we celebrate a little differently than other ethnic groups in the Balkans.
Same amala oro kelena - All my friends are dancing the Horo
Oro kelena dive kerena - Dancing the Horo celebrating/making the day
Sa o Roma - All the Roma
(Amaro dive - Our day
Amaro dive, Ederlezi - Our day, Ederlezi
Ej... ah... )
Sa o Roma, babo, babo - All the Roma, father, father
Sa o Roma, o daje - All the Roma, mother
Sa o Roma, babo, babo - All the Roma father, father
Ej, Ederlezi - Oh, Ederlezi
Sa o Roma, daje - All the Roma, mother
Sa o Roma babo, E bakren cinen. - All the Roma father, they cut/slaughter the lamb
A me coro, dural besava. - But I am poor, I'm sitting far away
A a daje, amaro dive. - But mother, our day
Amaro dive erdelezi. - Our day, Ederlezi
Ediwado babo, amenge bakro. - They give father, for us lamb
Sa o Roma, babo. E bakren cinen. - All the Roma, father. Slaughter the lamb
Eeee...j, Sa o Roma, babo babo, Sa o Roma daje. - Oh, all the Roma, father, father. All the Roma, mother
Sa o Roma, babo babo, Erdelezi. Erdelezi, Sa o Roma Daje. - All the Roma, father father. Ederlezi, Ederlezi, all the Roma mother.
Eeee... Sa o Roma, babo babo, Sa o Roma daje. Sa o Roma, babo babo, Eeee... - All the Roma, father, father. All the Roma, mother. All the Roma, father, father.
Erdelezi, Erdelezi.
Sa o Roma Daje - All the Roma mother.
