Thousands of people are flocking to a policeman’s house in India’s remote Andaman Islands to pray in front of two portraits of Jesus Christ, which are said to have been "bleeding" for the past two weeks, police and witnesses said.

Eric Nathaniel, a police radio operator, found red fluid trickling down a portrait of Jesus in his house two weeks ago which he believed was blood.

"We lit candles and prayed all night and a little later the blood dried but it soon started trickling down from the hands and heart of another portrait in the house," Nathaniel told Reuters in the islands’ capital Port Blair on Wednesday.

Officials said red paint used in the portraits could be melting in the extreme humidity, but islanders and priests were coming in boats from remote parts of the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago to pray.

"This is indeed a miracle and shows that Jesus was in pain because of our sins," said John Chrysostom, a priest at the Anglican Church of Port Blair.

You know, It is really sad when people do this kind of stuff. The picture is a relic, and to be close to God, all one has to do is get on ones knees and pray. He hears and sees you.

I do not need to see a bleeding picture of Jesus to believe, but that is what some people need in order to strengthen their faith in God

Science and Christianity are not at odds with eachother. Just because it's the paint or whatever doesn't make it less of a miracle.

The red paint is meltng and causing the picture to have tears that look like blood. This doesn't mean it's not of God. God can use the elements of the world he created to get our attention, to call us back to Him.

What's wrong with that? He has a history of using all sorts of eartly elements to wake us up and call us to repentance.

I do not see that it has to be one or the other...it is both...but still a miracle and something we should all pay attention to.

i'm uncertain there is any certainty... extremely in what people call miracles at present.. as interior the vehicle crash or hearth or what ever and the inevitable" Its a Miracle they survived" looks to me it may be greater of a miracle if God only steped in and only prevented the crash or the hearth or what ever... (which i'm uncertain God(s) never do... That only never gets any press...) Realistically in case you get tangled up in a automobile crash yet stay, I dont evaluate that a miracle.. and ya might wanna hire a clean mum or dad angel.. on account that one became of course slacking off..

I believe these are miracles to deceive people & to worship "images of God" that God has forbidden us to have. This is what is written in His Word.

Deut 4:23-24
23 Be careful not to forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the LORD your God has forbidden. 24 For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Jer 25:6
6 Do not follow other gods to serve and worship them; do not provoke me to anger with what your hands have made. Then I will not harm you."

Matt 24:24
24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.

Another story. Ya I read this yesterday. The ink must have melt. Or Jesus is really in pain because all Christians have misconseption about Him being Son of God or God himself. He was just a very special messenger of God. God knows best.
