What would the electricity cost be for 24 hours?

This one would use about 2.5kWh per 24 hours, so multiply by whatever you pay per kWh for electricity.

Many desktop computers have 'sleep modes' that kick in to reduce electric consumption when not used for a given period. There should be a manufacturer's label on most electric devices (like TV's, etc.) that indicate the watts used. Perhaps the manual indicates sleep mode watts. Multiply watts times 24 to get watt-hours of electricity and divide by 1,000 to get kilowatts of power per day. A KW of power costs about 10 cents in many areas but you can find your specific cost per KW on your power bill.
