Well, it looks like it's going to hell in a handbasket, as the saying goes--although in the Old Testament, in Ecclesiastes 7:10, it says not to ask why former days were better than now--so times have always appeared to be getting worse.

Certain extinction of we don't do something about it...global warming and everything.
