You know you can't do that, but I know where you're coming from - highly annoying!

Now you sound like a neighbor of mine that likes to kill animls just because they are trespassing. This is not the right way to think. UNLESS the dog is actually threating you, your kids, or livestock you cannot legally kill the dog. Would you kill someones kids if they kept getting on your property???? There is laws to protect animals from people like you..........CAll animal control..........

Can't you secure your yard? Or bark sternly at the owner, if you know whose dog it is? Otherwise I'd go with the water spray, or letting off some kind of loud noise that dogs hate (no, NOT a handgun, lol). I discovered by accident that my puppy is terrified of the noise when I pull a bit of duck tape off the end of the roll. You know that ripping sound it makes? It scares the s**t out of her and now I use it if I spot her digging in the yard. Easily done.

Only if your life is threatened. You cannot just randomly kill it. It does not know it's trespassing. You can trap it in a live trap and take it to the shelter. Many shelters will rent you a live trap just for this purpose. In our town, if you can catch the dog and tie it up, the animal shelter will come pick it up. Call your shelter for guidance.

Why would you want to hurt a dog when it is the owners fault. Go hurt them at least they can defend for them self.

Keep your hose ready and spray him everytime you see him in your yard.
