Emma's right. Especially if you're exercising too. Added muscle will not show as weight loss on the scale. In fact, you could gain weight.

I weigh over 340 lbs. I used to weigh over 475 lbs. I still don't use a scale to judge weight loss.

Best trick? measure yourself. If the scale isn't your friend. measure your waist, chest, thighs, and keep track of those measurements. That was a big help for me personally.
