and had to go to school, with only one hour of sleep, what can i do, to wake me up a bit more, so i don't feel as tired, other than energy drinks, cofee, or any other beverage, or eating a big breakfast. so in other words, no food/drinks.

You should always get enough sleep. If you are drinking the energy drinks that are currently on the market, you should know that they are loaded with caffeine and sugar.

If you are concerned about your health, you should consider an alternative. I drink an energy drink that works really well. It works in 5-10 minutes after drinking it, lasts for several hours, and is much less expensive than most other energy drinks. It is very healthy for you. It also helps me sleep much better at night.

Well I know what it's like to have insomnia, but you're presenting quite the challenge.

Actually, what usually gets me up fast is a walk outside, get some fresh air, or some kind of low impact exercise that will get your blood pumping without tiring you out.

Eating something sometimes works for me, but then I crash after a while.

Other than a boost of fresh air and moderate exercise, *get some sleep*!!

Get sleep.

It's not good to deprive your body of sleep because you will feel weak and DRAINED and no matter how much energy/coffee drinks you have, you will feel fine one minute and shattered the next.

just stay busy and keep moving. when that happens to me as long as I'm doing something I'm fine but if i stop for one minute I'm toast. (mind over matter : it really does work.)
